After RRR, the next Telugu biggie that will hit the theatres is Megastar Chiranjeevi’s upcoming release, Acharya. Directed by Koratala Siva, this movie features Ram Charan in a pivotal role. Kajal Aggarwal and Pooja Hegde played the female leads in it.
The producers are planning a big release for this movie in the Telugu states. It is heard that Acharya will release in around 1500-2000 screens only in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
In an interview with Pinkvilla, the film’s producer Anvesh Reddy said that they are not looking for a pan-India release and confined that Acharya will release only in Telugu. Apart from these 1500-2000 screens in the Telugu states, Acharya will release in multiple theatres across various areas in the country.
Anvesh Reddy said that they haven’t fixed the trailer release date yet. But he stated that it may get released two weeks before the film’s release. He further added that the trailer launch event will be a small affair but the pre-release event will be organized on a grand scale.
The pre-release event of Acharya will be held a week close to the film’s release. Acharya is being produced jointly by Matinee Entertainment and Konidela Production Company.
