Varun Tej’s Open Letter On Ghani Failure

Not many celebs come out like this and accept the debacle. After his sports drama Ghani received poor reviews, Varun Tej took to Twitter and penned a nostalgic note on the matter. The actor wrote that he feels extremely humbled by all the love and affection fans have showered upon him all these years.

The actor went on to thank all those who were involved in the making of Ghani as well, especially his Producers. “We worked with real passion and hard work to deliver a good film to you, and somehow ideation didn’t translate as we thought it would. Every time I work on a film, my sole purpose is to entertain you. Sometimes I succeed & sometimes I learn, but I will never stop working hard,” he quoted.

As we know, despite the failure, some teams usually hold a success party and seldom come out and accept the poor response. However, with Varun Tej’s word on the behalf of his Ghani team, fans began to laud and appreciate his sincerity. Also, the actor worked real hard for Ghani to get a toned body by following a no-salt diet. The film was released in theatres on 8 April and was subjected to criticism towards direction and screenplay.

Directed by Kiran Korrapati, this sports flick has been produced by Renaissance Pictures and Allu Bobby Company. Meanwhile, Varun Tej has joined forces with filmmaker Praveen Sattaru for his next, tentatively named VT12. Bapineedu and BVSN Prasad will be financing the project under their banner SVCC, while Naga Babu will present the movie.
