Pooja’s Comeback Film Ends Up As A Flop

Pooja Hegde made her acting debut with the 2012 Tamil film Moogamudi. As it was a flop, she didn’t get any offers in Kollywood.

Finally, Pooja got her first breakthrough with the 2017 Telugu film DJ. After that, there was no looking back for this actress. She went on to act alongside various star heroes in many blockbuster films like Aravinda Sametha, Maharshi, Ala…Vaikunthapurramuloo and Most Eligible Bachelor.

Pooja is now considered the lucky mascot for many directors and actors in Telugu cinema. With this increased stardom, she made her comeback to Tamil cinema with the recent film Beast.

Directed by Nelson, this film featured Vijay in the lead role. In this movie, Pooja was confined to a side-kick character. Her role is of no use in the story and it was also written in a very bad way.

Nelson’s female lead characters are well written in his previous two films. But he failed to recreate that magic for Pooja.

Beast has been receiving negative talk everywhere. Thus, Pooja’s comeback film in Tamil also ended up as a failure. We have to see if she gets more offers in Kollywood after scoring a flop with Beast.
