The big success of KGF 2 is going to mount a huge pressure on Prabhas’s Salaar. KGF director Prashant Neel already started making Salaar with Prabhas and the movie had to go for a brief break due to KGF 2 release and promotions. Salaar is all set to restart the shoot from next month and there is no clarity yet on having a sequel or just one part altogether.
Irrespective of how many parts Salaar is going to have, it is sure that the success of KGF 2 is building pressure on Prabhas. One of the main selling points of KGF is the heroism elevations and needless to say the Prabhas fans expect much bigger heroism in Salaar. It is not easy to reach the expectations and Prabhas already had such an experience with Sahoo after Baahubali.
Prabhas is in dire need of a strong comeback after his Radhe Shyam too failed miserably. Also, this ‘comeback’ pressure of Prabhas will be on Prashant Neel. The latest release date of Salaar is not known yet and there is no clarity yet on Adipurush’s arrival before Salaar.
Due to delays on shoot due to Corona waves and many other things, Salaar had to go for many changes, and the makers of Hombale films are spending more money on the project. Though the details on the budget are not revealed, it is heard that it is going to be lesser than that of Saaho. With so many pressures on, we have to see how Prabhas and Prashant Neel are going to keep Salaar to the expectations.
