Nag Fires On OTT Guy For Asking Akhil’s Movie

In the recent times, you might have seen this name called ‘Netflix Delivery Fulfilment Partner’ a lot at the beginning of some Telugu films. A lot of enthusiastic consultants have come forward to take Telugu films to Netflix and over every sale, they get a percentage as their fee.

Guess what, one of this delivery fulfilment partner is said to have approached Akkineni Nagarjuna now with a proposal. Claiming that he could easily get 10-15 crores for selling Akhil’s “Most Eligible Bachelor” to an OTT channel, the consultant met Nagarjuna. But the twist is, the senior Akkineni star is said to have blasted him big time and not come up again. Wonder why?

Apparently Akhil’s next is produced by Allu Arvind and if they want to give it to OTT, definitely they would have got it on ‘Aha’ only in order to create a huge buzz for the app. But they are waiting for theatres to re-open such that the film will be released in a grand manner. If they give up the movie to OTT, it is tough to recover the production costs as well. For the same reason, Nag has blasted the consultant because he is neither the producer of the film nor they have the plan to release it on OTT platform.

Directed by Bommarillu fame Bhaskar, Akhil’s Most Eligible Bachelor has Pooja Hegde as the leading lady. After three back to back flops including Akhli, Hello and Mr Majnu, Akhil is hoping big on this project.
