Kushi Banking On #VijaySam Chemistry

Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha had earlier acted together in the movie Mahanati. After four years, they have reunited for the upcoming film Kushi, which is being directed by Shiva Nirvana. The makers have recently wrapped up a lengthy schedule in Hyderabad.

Meanwhile, Shiva says that the on-screen chemistry between Vijay and Samantha will be the major highlight of the film.

Speaking in an interview with an English daily, the Ninnu Kori director stated that both Vijay and Samantha have amazing screen presence and will set the benchmark for rom-coms in Telugu cinema.

He also said that the fun banter scenes between Vijay, Samantha and Vennela Kishore will be a treat for the audience.

Shiva said that it is a dream come true for him to work along with talented actors like Vijay and Samantha. “They’re extremely thorough and professional, so that makes my job as a filmmaker much simpler,” he added.

Around 40% of Kushi’s shoot is done. The next schedule will begin in Hyderabad soon. It is slated for worldwide release on December 23, 2022.
