Hero Nithiin’s first film Jayam was released exactly on this day, 20 years ago. The film directed and produced by Teja was a runaway hit. He later grew into a promising actor with hits. However, his wrong choice provided him numerous flops. But that didn’t disappoint him.
Nithiin came back strongly with Ishq and it was a turning point in his career. He right now is in very comfortable position and is now attempting different genre movies. His next Macherla Niyojakavargam is a mass action entertainer. Nithiin’s home banner Sreshth Movies successfully distributed Kamal Haasan’s Vikram in Telugu.
Being in the industry for 20 years is no small thing and it’s an achievement for any actor. Nithiin called this as a beautiful journey.
A note penned by the actor reads:
Dear Friends,
20 years ago, I embarked on my journey with JAYAM, which was my first film.
Words simply can’t describe how I’m feeling today but I will try. Firstly, I sincerely thank Teja garu for giving me my first break, recognizing the actor in me.
I thank all the directors, producers, actors, technicians, staff and crew of every film I worked on. Without you, I wouldn’t be where I am today.
I’m grateful for this beautiful journey and thank everyone who sailed with me, by supporting and believing in me, through the highs and lows. Your love kept me going.
Last, but not the least, heartfelt gratitude to my fans who sustained me by their unfading faith
LOVE ALWAYS NITHIIN”.
