One of the upcoming films of Alia Bhatt is “Darlings” which is in the production pipeline for a long time. Directly released on Netflix, this film produced by Shahrukh Khan and Alia Bhatt is now making waves with the trailer. Let us see how it is.
“Darlings” deals with a simple story of a guy in love with a girl and what happens when the brother of the girl finds that out. If the trailer is anything to go by, it is Alia Bhatt’s performance that keeps you riveted to the trailer from the first frame itself. And then Vijay Varma also catches our attention, while Shefali Shah and Roshan Mathew also turned heads with their limited presence in the trailer. But it is Alia’s show all the way that captivated the attention in this story set in a lower middle class setup.
While the suspense factor and intriguing elements have worked out in the trailer’s favour, director Jasmeet K Reen rocked with her story telling and directorial abilities. No doubt, Netflix has picked up yet another interesting movie in recent times through ‘Darlings’.
