Recently during the promotional interviews for “Sammathame” movie, when anchors asked Kiran Abbavaram about his upcoming films, he has a dozen to quote. But when they posed the same question to heroine Chandini Chowdhary, she stumbled, muttered, and vaguely revealed that she has a couple in the pipeline but we could understand that they are not those big films.
That’s the fate of not just Chandini, but just many Telugu heroines out there. Back in the days, there used to be Telugu beauties like Savitri, Kanchanamala, Jayaprada, Jayasudha, Roja, Rambha, Raashi and many more. And all these heroines are always paired with top stars of the day. But now, we have only Samantha, Pooja Hegde, Rashmika Mandanna, Keerthi Suresh and other non-Telugu beauties doing the job. Amidst these hapepnings, Chandini even went on saying that she doesn’t know why Telugu beauties don’t get much chances here.
However, a national award for “Color Photo” movie means one cannot stop appreciating the hard work and terrific acting prowess showcased by Chandini Chowdhary in that film. And that has kept her back in the spotlight, giving her a huge sigh of relief for sure. So, what next? Will Tollywood give her a big break to her at least now?
