In recent times, rockstar Devi Sri Prasad has shaken the whole of the nation with the massive album he has given for “Pushpa”. Especially the songs Srivalli and Oo Antava have gone viral with the latter item number rocking the charts across the globe as well. But then, his creative brilliance and sound aesthetic didn’t work out for the films that followed.
With back to back poor albums like Rowdy Boys, Goodluck Sakhi, Khiladi, Aadallu Meeku Joharlu, F3 and The Warrior, we must say that DSP has disappointed not only his diehard fans but also the ordinary music lovers too. Though some songs from Khiladi and F3 were trending at the time of release, they never stood tall over a period. With negative feedback engulfing the composer, it looks like he’s gonna answer them all with his slow poison like album.
Apparently the songs DSP has scored for mega hero Vaishnav Tej’s upcoming film “Ranga Ranga Vaibhavamga” are turning out to be quite haunting melodies.
While the first two songs Telusa Telusa and Kothaga Ledenti already clocked 5 million views on YouTube, other day released Siri Siri Muvvalona took reached 2 views in just a day on the streaming site. The songs are said to be entering the Top 10 charts of various other music streaming sites too.
Maybe it’s high time that his detractors and fans to collectively say, DSP is back to form. Or should we wait for a biggie like Pushpa 2 to come up?
