‘I Overcome The Second Half Syndrome’

Director Hanu Raghavapudi made his debut with the Telugu film Andala Rakshasi. He is currently busy with the promotions of Sita Ramam. Starring Dulquer Salmaan and Mrunal Thakur, the film is bankrolled by Swapna Cinema. The film is hitting the screens on the 5th of August. The makers held the pre-release event today.

Speaking at the event, director Hanu heaped praises on the film’s cast and crew.

“I feel that I grew as a director with the film. Swapna Dutt is the only reason why Sita Ramam is shaped well today. She trusted the director in me. After scoring two flops continuously, I am proudly saying that this film will be a big hit. I am not saying this out of pride. I am very positive about the movie,” said Hanu.

“When I completed the story, I did not know who to approach. It is then Swapna suggested Dulquer, and I liked the option. I flew down to Kochi and narrated the story of Sita Ramam in Telugu to Dulquer. I did not know how much he understood the story but he agreed to do the film,” said the director talking about the entry of Dulquer into the project.

“I got a lot of time in the entire process of making the film that I used to work on the story. It made us confident about the film,” said Hanu.

“There is a complaint on me that I have second half syndrome. People tell me that I mess up the second half. I overcame it now. I am not a patient anymore. I did the second half properly,” said the director with confidence.

“Rashmika overcame her comfort zone and signed this project. She had some inhibitions about the film but trusted the story and came on board. A lot of thanks to her,” Hanu said.

“I wrote the film, made the film, and watched the film. All of the actors performed the film so well that they will transport us into a different world. I confidently say that the viewers will not be distracted from watching the film. They won’t pick up their phone while watching the film,” said the director.

“Sita Rama is going to be a big addiction for everyone,” said Hanu Raghavapudi, sharing that the film shaped up well.
