We must agree that movies and food are the best combination. The weekend plans of watching films in cinemas used to be a joyful experience with toothsome munchies and snacks.
But today this enhanced experience comes with a price. Most of the multiplexes play along with foods and beverages that have untenable and extravagant prices.
This is the serious concern; Tollywood should have a look into. More than the ticket prices, the expensive food cost is keeping family audiences away from theatres.
The producers’ guild is discussing about various topics to bring back the glory to theatres, but it is also necessity to discuss about controlling food prices in cinema halls.
Let’s hope, they will take necessary actions to put a cap on food price in theatres, multi-plexes in particular, for the well-being of the industry!
