KGF Chapter: 2 (2022) remains in the first position with worldwide collections of over Rs. 1250 crores. Its predecessor KGF Chapter: 1 (2018) is in the second position with earnings of over 250 crores.
Puneeth Rajkumar’s final film James (2022) is in the third position with collections of over 150 crores.
Kichcha Sudeep’s latest action thriller Vikrant Rona (2022) is in fourth place with earnings of around 150 crores.
Rakshit Shetty’s 777 Charlie (2022) is in the fifth position by collecting more than Rs. 100 crores at the box office. Four of the five top-grossing films in the Kannada film industry have been released in 2022.
In that way, 2022 turned out to be the most prosperous year for Sandalwood and made it one of the most successful film industries in the country.
