Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s Jalsa is re-releasing on September 1st on the eve of his birthday. Fans are holding special shows of this film across the world to celebrate Pawan’s birthday in a big way. The response for these special shows has been phenomenal as well.
As per the current status, Jalsa is being screened in over 501 screens across the globe. This is the highest screen count for any re-release of the Telugu film. We hear that more screens will be added today.
It is also reported that the film collected a gross of Rs. 50 lakhs from Hyderabad alone. The advance bookings in the city are running at an occupancy rate of more than 85%.
Already, Jalsa (501+) broke Pokiri’s record of the highest screens for a re-release and highest grosser in Hyderabad among re-released films (Rs. 48 lakhs).
It is expected that Jalsa will also cross the total gross of Pokiri’s special shows with ease. The film is also having special shows in countries like the USA, UK, Australia and Italy. It will be screened in remastered 4k print and is equipped with Dolby Atmos sound system.
Directed by Trivikram, Jalsa features Ileana as the female lead. Allu Aravind produced the project and Devi Sri Prasad composed the music for it.
