Acknowledging the same, SIIMA presented Pooja Hegde with Female Youth Icon Star in South Cinema last night. Pooja Hegde is elated with this unique award and took to her Twitter profile to share her happiness.
Pooja Hegde also decoded the reason why she was awarded the tag ‘Youth Icon’. She wrote, “As for Youth Icon, I guess if you continue being your authentic self, it pays off eventually.”
The success of Most Eligible Bachelor and the character Vibha she played in the film have been instrumental in her getting this award.
Apart from SSMB28, Pooja is also busy with Hindi films Cirkus and Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan.
