Prabhas-starrer Adipurush’s teaser was unveiled last night. Everyone pinned a lot of hopes on it but the teaser turned out to be a disappointment for audiences. Many fans and netizens trolled the VFX and animation work of Adipurush on social media. They said that the movie is looking like a cartoon.
However, none of the film celebrities made any negative comments about the teaser. Meanwhile, noted actor and director SS Rajamouli’s cousin, SS Kanchi, made an indirect comment about the film. He tweeted, “పౌరాణికం తీస్తే తెలుగోడే తీయాలి…(Only a Telugu person should make mythological films).”
In this way, he indirectly took a dig at Adipurush’s teaser. A few days ago, even he took an indirect dig at Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan as well. His comments are now going viral all over Telugu social media.
Directed by Om Raut, Adipurush is a live-action mythological film based on Ramayana. Prabhas plays the role of Lord Rama in it. Kriti Sanon will be seen as Sita. Saif Ali Khan is playing the role of Ravana. It is slated for a worldwide release on January 12, 2023.
