The Ghost – Very Crucial For PS!

Director Praveen Sattaru made his debut with the 2011 romantic comedy LBW. It was well-received but was a flop at the box office. He then made small-budget films like Routine Love Story, Chandamama Kathalu, and Guntur Talkies. They were decent but not big hits.

In 2017, he made PSV Garuda Vega with Rajasekhar. It was a hit but not a blockbuster. In the web arena, he made the 11th Hour web series with Tamannaah. It was a flop. He was roped in to direct Netflix’s web series, Baahubali: Before the Beginning. But the series was shelved as Netflix was disappointed with the output.

Now, Praveen Sattaru is coming up with The Ghost. Touted to be an action thriller, this film features Nagarjuna and Sonal Chauhan in the lead roles. This is Praveen’s first film with a big hero. Until now, he doesn’t have any blockbusters under his belt. Thus, The Ghost will be a litmus test for him.

If it clicks at the box office, then it will be a much-needed breakthrough for Praveen. If it doesn’t, Nag will not be affected by Praveen’s career will be affected a lot. So, he is pinning a lot of hopes on it. Apart from this movie, Praveen is working on his next film with Varun Tej.
