‘Over to Gautham Menon’ Says Chiyaan’s Fans

Chiyaan Vikram is looking for big success for a long time. This year, he came up with Cobra in August. This big-budget action thriller was a flop in both Tamil and Telugu.

Recently, he came up with Ponniyin Selvan. Directed by Mani Ratnam, Ponniyin Selvan featured Aishwarya Rai, Karthi, Trisha, and Jayam Ravi in the other lead roles. Though it is a raging success in Tamil, the film is getting a poor response in Telugu.

Vikram’s last hit in Telugu was Aparichithudu. After that, he came up with many films but failed to score a hit in the Telugu states.

He pinned a lot of hopes on Cobra and PS-I, but they ended up as disappointments in Telugu. Thus, Vikram is pinning all hopes on his next film, Dhruva Natchathiram.

This long-delayed flick is expected to hit the screens at the end of this year. Directed by Gautam Menon, this film features Ritu Varma as the female lead. We have to see if Vikram gets his much-needed success in Telugu with this movie or not.
