When maverick director Ram Gopal Varma further targeted ‘avadhani’ Garikapati Narasimha Rao, many thought that he’s actually trolling mega fans in reverse, but actually, the director’s tweets and reactions of various media folks are now going to lead the avadhani into more troubles.
Already many are commenting that Garikapati is neither a spiritual person nor a Godman or religious leader, but he is only an intellectual being good at instant Telugu poetry, and he should be charged for his comments.
Noted human rights activist, Babu Gogineni also opined that the comments made by Garikapati Narasimha Rao regarding the rape of women and his lewd remarks that looking at Anushka his heart skipped a beat, were all not in good taste.
Gogineni opined that Narasimha Rao almost sounded like a Telugu Taliban and requested authorities to take action against him for his stupidity and absurd comments about women. And he also shared how Garikapati can’t even pronounce the name of Albert Einstein but speaks about scientific theories.
Though Garikapati’s videos are in the public domain for a long time and with the likes of director Harish Shankar sharing some of his videos as well where he praised some Telugu movies, he got huge popularity in this masculine world.
But a tiff with mega fans has highlighted the real negative and misogynist side of the Avadhani and it looks like some legal cases are imminent now. While threatening Chiru on the stage, surely he might have not anticipated all this.
