Hero’s General Comments On VFX Irk Adipurush Fans

Prabhas’ Adipurush attracted a large number of trolls for its VFX work in the first place and for the looks of Raavan and Hanuman in the next. While the teaser reaction has left the makers in a fix about the changes they have to make or to release the same they made already. Amid this dilemma of makers and trolling from the audience, a hero’s comments on VFX in general irked Adipurush fans.

Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan’s Bhediya trailer was released today. During the launch of the trailer, Varun Dhawan spoke about the ‘cringe-worthy’ VFX work of some of his previous films which he praised then. He said, ‘I have done films where the VFX have been very cringe-worthy. I must have lied and praised it while promoting those films. Definitely. This is human nature. But now when I look back, I can say definitely that there have been cringe-worthy moments in the VFX. But, I haven’t done the VFX (laughs). But I can work with directors and producers who can bring change. So, I feel I have become more responsible in that way.’

Well, his comments in general were being linked to Prabhas’ Adipurush VFX shown in the teaser. While Adipurush’s teaser was called ‘cartoonish’, many on social media have been comparing it to Varun Dhawan’s Bhediya trailer, only to praise the latter. Needless to say that the admirers of Adipurush are attributing the comments as Bollywood’s envy for Baahubali’s success and also of its star Prabhas.

Interestingly, Kriti Sanon who acted as Sita in Adipurush also acted in Varun Dhawan’s Bhediya. She sat expressionless when Varun Dhawan was speaking about the ‘cringe-worthy’ graphics.
