Pawan In Telugu, Puneeth In Kannada & Karthi In Tamil: Nagarjuna

Actor Nagarjuna shares a great bond with Tamil hero Karthi. They both acted in the Oopiri movie together and the friendship only grew bigger and better of late. Karthi invited Nagarjuna for the prerelease event of his upcoming movie Sardaar.

Nagarjuna spoke a bit about Karthi and the movie Sardar. Though his speech was short it is sweet and interesting. Nag thanked Karthi for inviting him to the event while also acknowledging that Annapurna Studios is presenting the movie.

Nag said he spoke to Karthi after watching the trailer of Sardar and he said Karthi is feeling proud of this film. Praising the hard work and determination of Karthi, Nagarjuna compared him to Pawan Kalyan and Puneeth Rajkumar.

‘When you have a brother who is a superstar already, it is not an easy thing to come out of his shadow and get your own identity. There are only a few of that kind who emerged as superstars though they are brothers of the biggest stars in the industry. One is Chiranjeevi garu’s brother Pawan Kalyan, Shivanna’s brother Puneeth Rajkumar in Kannada, and Suriya’s brother Karthi in Tamil,’ said Nagarjuna.

Nagarjuna further said,’ It is very difficult to come out of a Superstar’s shadow and to prove himself. Karthi could do that because he boldly did a different kinds of movies with different characters and today he has become an equally big star as his brother Suriya. I wish him and the movie team all the very best.’
