Every blockbuster movie will have its fair share of controversies and the one expected thing that is popping up about the unstoppable “Kantara” is that a music band has now accused the team of the movie of copying their song.
“Varaha Roopam” is a terrific background score that reverbs in the minds and hearts of the audience even after stepping out of the theatres. But now, Kerala’s popular music band Thaikkudam Bridge accused the makers of “Kantara” of plagiarising their creation without asking for the copyrights.
Kerala-based multi-genre music band Thaikkudam Bridge, founded and formed in 2013 by Govind Vasantha and Siddharth Menon, has now accused that their very own “Navarasam” is the inspiration behind the “Varaha Roopam” song. They stated that in terms of audio, Kantara’s music director Ajneesh Loknath has copied the whole song of “Navarasam” in terms of music, aalaps and all the musical arrangements, and threatened Kantara makers with legal action.
The music band requested the support of their listeners to spread the word that “Kantara” team is promoting Varaha Roopam as their own creation, but in fact, it is a copied one. Taking to Instagram, they have kept a post that is now stunning both music lovers and admirers of Kantara movie which is winning appreciation from all quarters.
