Late Shri. Puneeth Rajkumar has now been posthumously awarded the ‘Karnataka Ratna.’ The awards will be presented on November 1st, the same day as Kannada Rajyotsava. The award ceremony will be held at Vidhan Soudha in a never-before-seen grand scale this time.
Fans are expected to turn out in large numbers because this is a proud moment for Puneeth fans. The Karnataka government has confirmed that Superstar Rajinikanth and NTR have been invited to the ceremony and will both attend.

The actor will be posthumously awarded the ‘Karnataka Ratna’ by the state government. It is special award that is being presented on the occasion of Puneeth’s first-year commemoration. Ashwini Puneeth Rajkumar, Puneeth’s wife, will accept the award on his behalf. This will be witnessed by Dr. Rajkumar’s family members.
