Hat Trick With Balayya Babu!

It has certainly become a rare feat for a music director to score continuous hits these days. Scoring a hit with the same combination of lead actor and music director is even more rare. Although we have a hit combo ‘Hero – Director’, we couldn’t witness ‘Hero- Music Director’ combination.

This was achieved by Manisharma in early 2000s with the likes of Chiranjeevi and Balakrishna. He produced evergreen blockbusters like “Dai Dai Dama”, “Yamaha Nagari” etc with Chiranjeevi and “Lux papa”, “Andala Ada Bomma” with Balayya. In the last quarter of 1900s, Musical Maestro Ilayaraja had much more craze. Though it’s very hard to reach that stage, it seems like Thaman is having a time of his life.

Thaman who recently won a national award winner for best music direction for “Ala Vaikuntapuramlo” has signed his hat trick film with Balayya babu for his NBK 108. This comes after the duos massive success of “Akhanda”.

Soon after Akhanda, Thaman worked for Balayya’s next “Veera Simha Reddy” of which, the song “Jai Balayya” is already being played on loop. With his next film along with Balayya, Thaman is looking forward to produce another blockbuster album and get a hat trick of hits in this combo.
