Didn’t Use Glycerine, Because Ravi Is Like Brother: Chiru

Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Waltair Veerayya co-starring Ravi Teja opened to record collections and the movie is expected to become the biggest blockbuster for both stars. The film’s Mega Mass Blockbuster Meet happened just a while ago. The team during the event felicitated Chandrabose for Naatu Naatu song in RRR winning Golden Globe Award.

Bobby said, “Sukumar garu gave first feedback on the movie. Then, VV Vinayak also gave a positive verdict. Many fans of Chiranjeevi after watching the interval thanked me saying, thanks for bringing back vintage Chiranjeevi. I felt proud. After discussing with my team, 2.5 mins was chopped from the climax portion and I inform the same to Chiranjeevi garu at the last minute. He just gave thumbs up, that’s the freedom he gave to me.

Chiranjeevi and Ravi Teja’s emotional part worked well for the movie since both treated each other like their own brothers. This movie is a tribute to Chiranjeevi from our entire team as his fans. He didn’t irritate when we gave him some trouble during the shoot. I’m for the first time experiencing the taste of a real blockbuster.”

Ravi Teja said, “I’m yet to watch the movie in theatres. I’m waiting for the theatrical experience. My prediction came true and Waltair Veerayya is turning out to be a blockbuster. Congrats to my producers on the success. They are positive souls. I’m very happy for Bobby. This movie is not going to stop anytime soon. I was surprised to know that even small kids are weeping for emotional scenes. I’m willing to do a full-length and proper entertaining movie with Annayya.”

Chiranjeevi said, “Ravi, I accept your proposal and am ready to do a movie with you again. Coming to Waltair Veerayya, we had this confidence from the beginning. I was speechless after this blockbuster success. Everybody’s talking about my work. I shot a BTS video to show the hard work of the team.”

Chiranjeevi himself shot a video to make a BTS video to show the hard work put in by the daily wage workers and others. He also thanked them for all their hard work during some tough conditions.

He continued saying, “When Bobby narrated the story, I suggested developing it, as I felt it very average. He didn’t disappoint but took my words seriously and polished it to make it a diamond. This movie is a case study for youngsters. Bobby indeed gave value to my 44 years of experience. We hardly chopped 10 mins.

We are successful when we make movies within the time and budget. I suggest youngsters to come up with good stories, rather than experimenting with new technology. We need to take advantage if it’s necessary. Mani Ratnam and Rajamouli are exceptions for this.

Without Ravi Teja, Waltair Veerayya wouldn’t have happened. Tears came automatically for the scenes with Ravi Teja and I didn’t use glycerine, because he’s like my brother. I’m also ready to do a full-length movie with you (Ravi Teja) again.”
