Samantha Ruth Prabhu is starring in the upcoming OTT series Citadel, directed by Raj and DK of The Family Man 2 fame. She will be co-starring with Varun Dhawan. A first-look photo of the actor was recently released, showing her dressed in a brown leather jacket and black jeans while sporting a pair of tinted sunglasses. The photo shows her exuding a strong attitude, which is said to be reflective of her character in the series.
Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Varun Dhawan have started filming for their new show, Citadel India. The show is the Indian offshoot of the Russo Brothers’ series. According to a source, the production team has a two-week timeline and is preparing to make an official announcement about Samantha’s involvement in the series.
Varun Dhawan completed a four-day first schedule for the show, which involved intense action scenes, without Samantha.
