When Bollywood was in a dire need of a hit, King Khan Shah Rukh Khan came to its rescue. His latest film Pathaan was released on January 25 and emerged as a blockbuster at the box office. Right from the first day, Pathaan started breaking all existing records.
Until now, Pathaan collected Rs. 500 crores from its Hindi, Telugu and Tamil versions. It already emerged as the biggest hit in Bollywood this year. It also happens to be the biggest hit in Shah Rukh Khan’s career.
Celebrating such a humongous success, the makers decided to name this Friday (Feb 17) as Pathaan Day. On this Friday, the tickets across all screens of PVR, INOX and Cinepolis will be priced at flat Rs.110. This price will be applicable to all shows on Friday across these multiplexes. It is heard that a few other multiplex chains will also be added to this list.
This is a good offer for people who still haven’t got a chance to watch the film in theatres. With this offer, we can expect a huge number of footfalls tomorrow across the nation.
Directed by Siddharth Anand, Pathaan features Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in the other lead roles. It is produced by Yash Raj Films.
