Only Chiru’s Film Should Save Chiru’s Daughter?

The talk everywhere at the moment is, why Megastar Chiranjeevi is not promoting his daughter and son-in-law, Sushmitha and Vishnu Prasad’s maiden theatrical venture “Sridevi Shoban Babu” big time.

Going by trailer and teasers of the movie, one could easily understand that this Santosh Shoban starrer has nothing new to offer than routine commercial fare. And here is what more we are hearing.

Although Megastar wants to give a massive kickstart to Sushmita’s production ventures, somehow the mega daughter is not picking up great scripts.

Even though they got a couple of web series and web films quickly approved by some leading OTT platforms, those creations are not matched to what Telugu audiences usually watch on Amazon and Netflix.

And then comes this new movie, which is not getting any hype required to compete with the other releases like Danush’s Sir and Kiran Abbavaram’s Vinaro Bhagyamu Vishnu Katha.

Reports are coming that Chiranjeevi has already given word to Sushmitha that he will do a film for her production venture, but picking the story and director will purely vest in the heads of the megastar only.

Only with that film, probably Sushmitha will get the mega break as a producer which otherwise these low-budgeted ventures with routine formulaic stories might not save her.
