A Last Big Chance For Sreenu Vaitla?

Back then, he was hailed as a superhit filmmaker who delivered solid hits and one industry hit as well. But then, his subsequent films failed to click at the box office and a worried personal life further affected him. This led to the cancellation of two projects even after completing the shoot. Here comes his next and the challenges around it.

Yes, we are talking about the super successful commercial director Sreenu Vaitla who is delivering only flops for a time including the likes of Aagadu, Brucelee, Mister and Amar Akbar Antony.

A couple of years ago he has released the title look of Dhee sequel “Dhee & Dhee” which features Vishnu Manchu and Faria Abdullah in the lead, but the film got shelved even after a couple of schedules of the shoot. Later he is said to have started a movie with a top producer’s son, but that too got shelved even before kickstarting the first schedule.

The director has now decided to go ahead with a big hero only and he got struggling star Gopichand as the leading man for this next. It is so important that this film survives all the hurdles such that it will reach the finish line first.

And the second challenge is that it should become a solid hit which otherwise Vaitla’s career will not survive in Tollywood. Hope the director is holding all his horses right.
