A Bold Act From Akhil’s First Heroine

Usually, in the Tamil Film Industry, the in-laws of these so-called heroines who marry either directors or heroes are very strict. That’s why we see not many heroines continuing to act on the silver screen after tying the not. Though Nayantara is continuing it, she’s not popping up glamour, the way she’s popular.

On that note, one would really get a shock by looking at the item song, Raawadi, from the upcoming film, Simbu’s Pathu Thala which is set for March 30th release. Star kid Akhil’s debut film heroine Sayyesha Saigal, who has married Tamil star Arya and settled down in Chennai, has danced to this song composed by AR Rahman. Despite being married to another hero, and being a mother, Sayyesha defied all the odds that Tamil ‘kodallu’ of the film industry follows by doing this item number.

Though she’s out of shape and her dance moves are not so great, her enticing expressions have surely caught the attention of everyone. Moreover, Sayyesha’s item number proves that more and more heroines are taking inspiration from the likes of Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra who continued even bikinis and liplocks on the screen even after marriage, like their Hollywood counterparts.
