Young director-writer Pradeep Ranganathan shot to wide fame with his recent film Love Today. If the latest grapevine is anything to go by, he is all set to act alongside Lady Superstar Nayanthara in a new film which will be directed by Nayan’s husband Vignesh Shivan.
Initially, Vignesh Shivan announced a film with star hero Ajith. But for some unknown reasons, this film was shelved. Thus, Vignesh started working on another script.
According to the latest reports from Kollywood, Vignesh wrote a comedy thriller and will be doing it with Pradeep and Nayan. Apparently, Nayan and Pradeep will not have any romantic tracks in the movie. They are just the lead roles and not romantic interests in the film.
This untitled project is expected to go on the floors in a couple of weeks. An official announcement regarding the project is expected to be made soon. The sources also stated that Kamal Haasan’s Raaj Kamal Films International may bankroll this film. Anyway, we have to wait for a few more days to get complete details about this movie.
