Other day at a felicitation event, senior actor Kota Srinivasa Rao made some stark remarks on Powerstar Pawan Kalyan. Though he hasn’t taken his name directly, saying that the heroes of these days are openly announcing that they are taking ₹2 crores per day is disgusting, the senior actor kicked up a hornet’s nest as PK’s fans are fuming guns on him.
Of course, Pawan Kalyan is paying the tax properly, so he need not worry about announcing his per day payment as ₹2 crores or whatever. So that makes anyone wonder what is Kota Srinivasa Rao’s problem here. Taking a certain amount and announcing it is Pawan Kalyan’s personal thing, and if he has signed a Non-Disclosure Agreement with his producer regarding the pay, then they will be taking the legal action. All said and done, Kota is aged 75+ and surely he would be losing that generational grip on the kind of talks one should do and should not. There’s nothing that could be taken seriously from his words anyway.
On the other hand, fans might feel that a senior actor like Kota Srinivasa Rao lost his respect for the kind of comments he is making, but then, the senior actor has taken potshots at many in the last decade and that’s how he is. Ignoring him and moving on is the only best thing to do than to stick around to his comments and bring him down on Twitter.
