Old Lakshmana Hails Adipurush Lakshmana

Superstar Prabhas’s highly anticipated movie Adipurush is coming to theatres worldwide on 16th June 2023. Prabhas fans are ecstatic to see him portray Ram’s character and can’t wait for its release. The actor Sunny Singh will play Lakshman, a character portrayed by Sunil Lahri in Ramanand Sagar’s TV series airing between 1987 and 1988.

In an interview with senior actor Sunil Lahri who played Lakshman originally, he spoke about Sunny Singh and the film. Fans are eager to see how the story will come together and how Adipurush pans out when it hits theatres!

Sunil, when asked about the young actor taking on the role of Lakshman, commented that it was too soon to judge since there is hardly any shown of Lakshman’s character in the trailer. However, he expressed his confidence in Sunny being a good actor and believed that he had done justice to the role due to previous references to the character. He also argued that an actor’s performance depends heavily on how well the character was created by its makers.
