Major Theatrical & OTT Releases Of This Week

The under-performance of Adipurush hurt the box office. On top of that, there were no major releases last Friday to attract audiences. However, a few noteworthy films are releasing in theatres and on OTT platforms this week. Let’s take a look at them.

Spy:
Nikhil scored a big blockbuster last year with Karthikeya 2. After that, he came up with 18 Pages which ended up as an average outing. Now he is coming back with his new film Spy. Directed by Garry BH, this spy thriller will have a pan-India release on June 29.

Samajavaragamana:
Sree Vishnu is set to lock horns with Nikhil with his romantic comedy Samajavaragamana. We must see if Sree Vishnu can hit back the success track with this movie. It is also hitting the screens on June 29.

Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny:
The latest instalment of the Indiana Jones franchise, Dial of Destiny, will be released this Thursday. There are high expectations around this movie too.

Lust Stories 2 – Netflix:
Lust Stories is one of the most successful projects of Netflix India. It is now back with its second installment. The series consists of four anthology films directed by four acclaimed filmmakers. There is a huge anticipation around this show. It premieres on June 29.

The Night Manager Season 2 – Disney+ Hotstar:

The Night Manager is one of the popular web series made by Hotstar this year. The second season is gearing up for a world premiere on June 30.

Ardhamayyinda Arunkumar – Aha:

Directed by Jonathan Edwards, this Aha original features Harshith Reddy, Ananya and Tejaswi Madivada in the lead roles. It is slated for a premiere on June 30.
