RRR erased many boundaries of South Indian cinema. The movie managed to establish a demand for our cinema in Japan and the audience there is able to connect to the emotions shown in our films. It is already known that KGF and Rangashalam were released on Friday and to the surprise of everyone, Chittibabu overshadowed Rocky Bhai.
KGF makers highlighted their posters claiming to have beaten RRR, but its impact seems to be nothing in front of Chittibabu. Rangasthalam was an industry hit during its release but the makers could not get it big in other languages due to lesser promotions.
RRR’s great show in Japan is now encouraging producers of Ram Charan and NTR’s old hits to release the movies in Japan now. Now that Rangathalam proved it, it is no surprise that other films by Ram Charan and NTR will soon hit the screens in Japan. Fans only worry that the greed of some producers may bring out disasters of both the actors for Japan release to cash on RRR fever.
There is no clarity on collections, but the producers claim Rangathalam to be the highest-collected Indian movie in Japan.
