The moment Rana Daggubati and his production house Spirit Media announced that they are coming up with a film on “Hiranyakashap”, director Guna Sekhar who is toying with the idea of making a movie with the same concept for a long time, posted some cryptic tweets. Looks like Rana is going to answer all that criticism very soon as he is going ahead with his plan.
In fact, Gunasekhar has narrated a version of Hiranyakashipa to Rana and the duo was supposed to do the film. But after looking at the flop show of Shaakuntalam at the box office, it looks like Rana has a change of heart. Whatever it may, Rana’s production house announced that the concept teaser of “Hiranyakashipa” will be out soon. That means, the teaser will help director Gunasekhar find out if Rana’s team worked on a new idea, or just used the idea he has given.
As the story of Hiranyakashipa (Bhakta Prahlada story) originates from epics, surely none will have a right to the content, but what matters, in the end, is how they interpret it on the silver screen. Watch out for the teaser to find out what the Bhallaladeva is actually going to do.
