Advance Bookings For ‘Jawan’ Is Shocking!

Bollywood Badshah Shah Rukh Khan is preparing for the much-anticipated theatrical release of his upcoming film ‘Jawan.’ This star-studded movie features Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi alongside the superstar. Meanwhile, the advance bookings for ‘Jawan’ have already begun in UAE, USA, UK, and Australia regions.

Reports indicate that around 4,800 tickets worth $74.2K have been sold from 289 locations in the USA. It is anticipated that the number of locations and shows will increase as the release date approaches, suggesting a strong opening for ‘Jawan’ both in India as well as overseas.

Comparatively, SRK’s previous film ‘Pathaan’ had earned $1.85 million on its opening day in North America. However, the buzz around ‘Jawan’ indicates that it might surpass ‘Pathaan’s opening-day collection in the US. Speculations suggest that ‘Jawan’ could earn around Rs 50 crore overseas, exceeding ‘Pathaan’s overseas collection of Rs 37 crore.

Going by this trend, it is clear that the film will register an earth-shattering opening after the bookings are open in the regional markets.

Directed by Atlee, ‘Jawan’ also features Deepika Padukone, Sanya Malhotra, and Ridhi Dogra in important roles. The film’s initial release date was June 2, 2023.
