Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna share a special bond. Theirs is a successful on-screen pair. Thanks to the blockbuster success of Geetha Govindam. Though Dear Comrade didn’t yield the desired result, the pair’s chemistry has won the hearts of youths.
As part of Kushi promotions, Vijay visited a college in Coimbatore. During this, some students asked him about teaming up with Rashmika. Vijay admitted that he is also waiting to share screen space with Rashmika again.
Vijay said Rashmika and he will act together if the duo get the right script and things fall into place. The answer might be cliched, but Vijay’s comments are going viral on social media. VD and Rashmika fans are especially celebrating this answer as they have been eagerly waiting for their on-screen collaboration from longtime.
Meanwhile, Deverakonda also said Kushi has nothing to do with the classic cult film made by Vijay Thalapathy sir and SJ Suryah in Tamil and Pawan Kalyan sir in Telugu. Vijay said he had seen the Kushi film when he was in school. He said he was a great fan of the Kushi songs. VD said Kushi title is apt for their present story and hence chose it.
Deverakonda said he is so excited to share the title of his favourite star. He wished that old Kushi fans would see and enjoy his Kushi too. Directed by Shiva Nirvana, Kushi is hitting the screens on 1st September.
