Like we said already, Tollywood maintained completed silence over former Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu’s arrest and the subsequent remand that landed him in Rajahmundry Central Prison for 14 days. Finally, one of the leading producers of Tollywood, Ashwini Dutt, has come out open and responded to the same, without taking any names of the opponents.
“It is unfortunate that Chandrababu Naidu garu, a legend who gave a great Prime Minister, an efficient Loksabha speaker and a great President for this country, is being treated like this. It is an atrocious arrest and his detractors will have to face the ire of it”, said ace producer Ashwini Dutt, who is an active member of Telugu Desam Party earlier, and also contested unsuccessfully from Vijayawada Loksabha seat in 2004.
“As the general elections are coming soon in the next 3-4 months, these conspirators will get punished for their sins, as Chandrababu Naidu is likely to win 160 seats out of 175 seats (in AP assembly)”, Ashwini Dutt further added, resonating with the mass opinion that this arrest will be Chandrababu’s way to the throne of Chief Minister once again.
