Sr Producer Questions Modi On Chandrababu’s Arrest

A large number of TDP supporters came out on the roads to protest Chandrababu Naidu’s arrest. A few from the film fraternity, like senior producer Ashwini Dutt and superstar Rajinikanth, extended their support for Chandrababu. Now another senior producer in Telugu cinema, KS Rama Rao shot an open letter to PM Narendra Modi questioning the arrest of Chandrababu.

KS Rama Rao’s open letter says, ‘Chandrababu Naidu was arrested when you were in the G20 summit and while CM Jagan was in London. Today I am tired of the uncontrollable scams, political vengeance, fake cases, insecurity, and stooping of law and order, and now I am asking.

Chandrababu was pushed behind bars by levying cases without any evidence and I am enraged with it. I am not affiliated with any political party. But as a citizen of this state and country, I am fed up with the current situation. Chandrababu became the CM of the state without capital. He announced Amaravati as the state capital for the benefit of future generations and you inaugurated it. After that, a person who spent 16 months in jail came to power and started destroying Prajavedika and did not want Amaravathi to become the state capital. You should have warned Jagan about the change of state capital.

Just because of Chandrababu, thousands of people today are leading great lives in many countries working in IT. Chandrababu’s arrest shook them and that is why they are on roads to protest against Naidu’s arrest. You should have observed their protest. You should see the anguish of Telugu people whose heart is burning with the arrest of a person who served the state as a CM for 14 years. Release Chandrababu Naidu at least now and with the power of being the PM, dismiss Jagan’s government. Until the next elections, bring the president’s rule in state. You will earn the trust of the Telugu people with that act. Please respond immediately to reestablish the democracy in state.’
