‘800’ is arriving at the cinemas on October 6. The release in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi put together will be on 1100 screens. Presenter Sivalenka Krishna Prasad and director MS Sripathy are banking on the engaging nature of the genuine biopic of Muthiah Muralidaran.
In a video, it is revealed that the lead man, Madhur Mittal, had to slog for hours every day just to put the make-up on. Every day, at the start of the shoot, he would sit for hours as a team of dedicated and expert artists transformed him into Muralidaran.
Earlier, in order to do full justice to Sripathy’s research, Madhur practiced bowling despite his busy schedule. He got the bowling action so right that even Muralidaran recently said that the actor matched 70% of his body language.
Authenticity and hard work are always respected by the audience. The makers hope that ‘800’ will stand out for how real the lead man behaves and looks.
With music by Ghibran, ‘800’ was shot in cricket stadiums in countries like Australia, England, India and Sri Lanka.
