OTT Stroke Hitting This Senior Hero Hard

This senior hero is known for hiking remuneration every time his film releases, irrespective of the box office fate of the movie. Because of the hefty paychecks given by OTT platforms to his films, the hero kept on increasing the remuneration. However, with OTT platforms refusing to pay big for his films now, it looks like he is in a fix.

Recently a big-budgeted movie of this senior hero got cancelled at the last minute as the producers wanted to carve out the movie in under ₹90 crores, while the hero-director demanded nearly ₹130 crores to ready the first copy. Later, the hero’s remake film with another production house was supposed to start but that is taking off slowly due to the same budget factor. As OTT platforms offer less rate for the movie as it happens to be a remake, the producers want to cut either production costs or the hero’s remuneration. As both are not happening, the producer is now thinking twice about his movie.

Another big production house that is known for its association with a leading OTT platform thought of taking off this hero’s film, but they too issued budget cuts, and the hero is quite irritated with all these happenings now. He’s said to have asked his team to give him a break from these updates, and now wants to focus on promoting his upcoming film.
