While he appeared as a powerful faction leader in Veera Simha Reddy, though he intended to eradicate factionalism in the movie, NBK appeared as a cop in Bhagavanth Kesari.
Balakrishna scored hits with two contrasting subjects. While Veera Simha Reddy was an action drama, Bhagavanth Kesari is an emotional drama with commercial ingredients.
Gopichand Malineni who’s a big fan of Balakrishna presented him in a never-before mass avatar, Anil Ravipudi who’s also a fan of NBK showed the star in an emotional character.
Veera Simha Reddy which was released during the Sankranthi in 2023 opened to record collections and ended up as a commercial hit.
Bhagavanth Kesari which won the love of the masses as well as family audiences turned out to be the biggest hit for Balakrishna.
Balakrishna is the only hero among his contemporaries to deliver two blockbusters in 2023.
