This is not a film Announcement!

Saying that he is not making a film announcement, today ace director-producer Karan Johar has released a digital note, where he gave three hints about the upcoming film and the one who guessed it right would get a chance to watch a glimpse of the film officially. However, with his first hint reading that a superstar from the south who just delivered a pan-India box office juggernaut is the hero, many are wondering if he’s talking about Prabhas.

With Karan Johar saying that the film is ready with first glimpse, surely one could understand the fact that he is not talking about Prabhas as the Baahubali star hasn’t done any film for Dharma Productions at the given moment. He’s only part of Nag Ashwin’s Project K, which is Kalki 2898 AD and Maruthi’s Raja Saab. But the recent pan-India juggernaut from a south star is none other than Salaar, and there lies the answer to Karan’s posts.

Recently Karan made a film with hero Prithviraj Sukumaran who played Prabhas’ friend in Salaar, and he is referring to him. Regarding Karan’s other hints, we have Kajol playing the lead role in the movie that has a Kashmir conflict backdrop, while Saif Ali Khan’s son Ibrahim Ali Khan is making his silver screen debut with this movie. While Karan referred to N-word in his post, it is nothing but ‘nepotism’. This new film is titled “Sarzameen” and directed by newcomer Kayoze Irani.
