Talented Hero’s Double Release In May: Bad Move?

Talented hero Suhaas has proven his mettle already, while his recent film Ambajipeta Marriage Band gave him respite at the box office as the film turned out to be a decent one with producers making profits. Now that he has seen a release in February, many thought that he might say hello to theatres later this year. But here comes the shocker.

Other day Suhaas confirmed officially that his next film Prasannavadanam will hit cinemas on May 3rd. But that’s not the shocker. His other movie, which is being produced by Dil Raju’s kids on Dil Raju Productions banner is also hitting cinemas in the same month on May 24th. Many are wondering how come a hero will have two releases in the same month as that might bore the audience big time. So what made Suhaas take this decision?

This happening is outrightly termed as a bad move as at least maintaining 3 months would be ideal because that will make the audience forget the previous film and wait eagerly for a new one. While some say that the lack of any other available dates pushed both Prasannavadanam and #DRP4 to release in May 2024 itself. But it would have been good if Suhaas had given ample gap between the release dates.
