Jagapathi Babu Admits He Didn’t Enjoy Guntur Kaaram

Trivikram directing Mahesh Babu for Guntur Kaaram was an emotion for a lot of fans. The combination itself has got a ton of fans, thanks to their previous films Athadu and Khaleja. To their hard luck, Guntur Kaaram left them disappointed on many levels. The movie was so cliched and artificial, that it was rejected by the audience right away.

It’s been three months and no actor from the movie spoke directly about the failure. For the first time, Jagapathi Babu opened up about his character in Guntur Kaaram and how he did not like it in the movie. Jagapathi Babu is known for his frank talks and here is one about his Guntur Kaaram.

Jagapathi Babu openly admits that he did not enjoy Guntur Kaaram. ‘Although I’ve always loved working with Mahesh Babu, to be very honest, I didn’t enjoy Guntur Kaaram. Initially, the characterization was strong but became messy afterward, and eventually, it became very difficult for me to finish the shoot. I did whatever I had to do. I don’t want to waste our combinations on such films, it should be the best.’

It looks like Guntur Kaaram disappointed Jagapathi Babu as well. Jagapathi Babu played a not-so-serious villain in Guntur Kaaram and his character in the film was not impressive.
