In the wake of the controversy surrounding YouTuber Praneeth Hanumanthu’s derogatory comments on a father-daughter relationship, actress Renu Desai has come forward to express her outrage and demand swift action.

Renu Desai, known for her strong comments on many things related to society, took to her Instagram stories to voice her strong disapproval of Praneeth Hanumanthu’s offensive remarks. In a series of posts, she condemned the YouTuber’s actions and called for strict consequences. “These horrible people talking shit using other people’s videos and content should be arrested and beaten up in the lockup. This is my dark sense of humour and freedom of speech. And the people commenting and supporting these mentally unstable individuals should be arrested too,” Renu Desai wrote.

She further stated that the majority of human beings are always horrible and only social media is bringing their true face to the public. Several prominent figures, including actor Sai Dharam Tej and Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, have also condemned the YouTuber’s remarks and called for appropriate action. We have to see what action the Governments, both in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, are likely to take on the YouTuber.
