Prabhas 41st Birthday: Two Fans Electrocuted In AP

Pan India star Prabhas turned 40 on Friday and his fans planned to celebrate the occasion but the occasion turned tragic with one of them getting electrocuted while trying to tie a flexi at Punur in Yaddanapudi mandal, Prakasam district.

The deceased, Suguna Rao, got a huge flexi prepared to mark the star’s birthday. While he was trying to display it and tying it, he got in contact with a live wire dangling from an electric pole nearby. He died on the spot.

In the same incident, four other fans of Prabhas who were helping Suguna Rao to put up the flexi too suffered electric shock and were shifted to Guntur Government Hospital with grievous injuries. A pall of gloom descended on Punur village.

On information, police reached the village and shifted the body to the hospital for post-mortem. A case has been registered and investigation is on.

A similar incident occurred at LN Puram in Kalla mandal, West Godavari district this morning. Four fans of the sensational hero were trying to tie a flexi when it came in contact with a live wire and one of them, Gandikota Durga Prasad, died on the spot. Three others who suffered injuries due to the electric shock were shifted to hospital for treatment.

Currently, Prabhas is working for Radhe Shyam under the direction of Radha Krishna of Jil fame. There is buzz that some big update would be revealed from the sets of this movie on the occasion of the hero’s birthday. In this movie, Prabhas is paired with stunning starlet Pooja Hegde. Bhagyasri will be the mother of Prabhas in this movie.

The film’s shooting resumed a few days ago after being stalled due to lockdown imposed to check the spread of Covid-19. Now, the film crew is in Italy for shooting.
