Among the happening heroines in Tollywood, Pooja Hegde’s name will be considered first for the big hero films. ‘Ala Vaikunthapurramloo’ changed the fortunes of Pooja who initially had a negative wave behind her. Now Pooja is also making waves in Bollywood and so there is good demand for Pooja.
On the other hand, Bollywood has a scarcity of heroines and so Pooja’s name is being considered for many big films over there too. Recently Pooja was signed for Ranveer Singh and Rohit Shetty’s films. So cashing this opportunity, Pooja is putting her terms and conditions before the producers and directors approaching her.
Also with this, Pooja has hiked her remuneration. Earlier she used to charge anywhere between one to 1.5 crore Rupees and now Pooja is said to be asking Rs 2.5 crore per film. To the makers, Pooja is reportedly saying that signing her in a film would have pan-India appeal.
But down the south, such huge paychecks would not be offered to heroines. So the producers and directors are searching for alternatives to Pooja Hegde. Some are considering less popular heroines from Bollywood and are in opinion that they can be paid one-fifth of what Pooja is getting paid.
Surprisingly Pooja is not worried about this because there is a good list of filmmakers who still want to sign her. The next big film of Pooja is ‘Radhe Shyam’ starring Prabhas and if this film scores a blockbuster then, Pooja would occupy the top slot in Bollywood and Tollywood.
