Korean superstar Maa Dong-seok, who is popular across Asia by stage name, Don Lee, grabbed the headlines of Indian media a few months ago when it was reported that Sandeep Reddy Vanga was reportedly planning to rope him in Prabhas’ soon-to-be launched Cop Drama ‘Spirit’ to do the antagonist role.
While many are expecting this rumour to turn into a reality, here comes a big twist from the Korean actor himself. Just a while ago, Don Lee shared the poster of Prabhas’ much-anticipated sequel, Salaar 2’s poster with a thumbs-up emoji on his official Instagram page. This unexpected gesture from the Korean actor triggered a huge discussion across social media platforms among fans & media circles. The speculations were triggered even further right after the official Salaar Instagram account shared Don Lee’s post.
Though it is too early to speculate if Don Lee is a part of Salaar 2 or not, one thing is very much sure. He will be sharing the screen with Prabhas in one of Prabhas’ upcoming films soon. The face-off between Prabhas and Don Lee is going to be truly epic if it happens. We may have to wait and see if either the makers of Salaar 2 or Spirit come up with an official announcement soon.
Meanwhile, Hombale Film, the makers of Salaar announced a three-film deal with Prabhas recently. One of the three films is Salaar 2 and the other two are, a film with Prasanth Varma & another film is said to be with Lokesh Kanagaraj.
